We've been BUSY making some memories

Our family has been busy as usual but we have also tried to add in as much fun as we could. Here is a recap of some things we have been up to.
A couple Friday's ago I met up with my friend Ashley and her Daughter Harper. We were supposed to take our girls to Bounce Jungle for their open bounce. Unfortunately when arrived there was a sign on the door that said they cancelled open bounce for that day. HUGE BUMMER!!! So we opted to take the girls to a Mcdonald's across the street that had just opened. This is the girls playing on the toddler zone.

Natalie showing off her skills of riding with no hands. :-)
Then we took the girls to Chick-fil-A down the street to play there and eat some lunch. This is Harper and Taylor coming out of the slide.
Natalie crawling around in the play area. She loved exploring. The girls had fun with the improvised play time. It wasn't as fun as Bounce Jungle would've been but we will try that a different day.

A couple of Saturdays ago we FINALLY took our jet-ski to Canyon Lake. It is sad that it takes up half of our garage yet we still only have time to take it to the lake once a year. (actually we didn't even make it once last year) We really need to take advantage of it more. We had a lot of fun.
Taylor and Preston getting ready to head out. Taylor likes going fast, but doesn't like getting splashed with the water.
Nathan and I getting ready to head out.

We had our Nephew Daniel (almost 7) with us too. He was visiting from Eagar. This is Daniel and I on one of our trips.
We have a kneeboard that Natalie loved to crawl onto and stand up on it like a surfboard. I unfortunately had a hard time capturing a picture of her standing on it. She looked really cute.

Taylor having fun doing some digging. She always had her life jacket on so she was ready to ride the jetski on a moments notice.

Last Monday we went as a family to the Diamondbacks game. We had good tickets, upper level behind homeplate. It was cute, Natalie would just stand there and clap whenever other fans did. Here she is looking around to see who was paying attention to her.

We had an extra ticket so Nathan's friend Hayden was able to come with us. An older couple behind us thought these two were twins. We get that a lot whenever these two hang out together. They are only a month apart and they have a lot of fun together. They have been good friends since nursery.

Me and the girls posing for a shot.
Preston and the kids.
This was just a really cute shot. Right before the 7th inning the people in front of us left so the kids moved down to lean against the bar. Everytime there was a break in action we would all be dancing and waving our arms to try and get the kids on the jumbo tron. It finally paid off. When they were standing here and dancing during the 7th inning stretch they were shown on the jumbo tron. They were ECSTATIC!!!!! We left after the 7th inning so they were shown just in the nick of time. We left early because it was a school night.

I wasn't fast enough to get a picture of the jumbo tron with them on so I took a picture with them standing in front of it instead.

This is just a cute random picture. Taylor has been learning the Articles of Faith and after passing off the 2nd one yesterday she chose this little table as her prize from the basket. I came out this morning to see that she had found as many small character as she could and she had them sitting at the table having a "picnic" . She told me that she didn't have enough room at the table so they were taking turns. Off to the side are the on deck characters

Humpty Dumpty Natalie

Do you all remember Preston's new truck? Well it is REALLY tall, even I have a hard time getting in.

Well yesterday morning Natalie fell off the drivers seat onto the rocks in our front yard. She was playing on the front seat as we were loading up to go to the lake. The front door was opened without it being realized that she was there and she came tumbling out. She landed face first and this is what she looked like a couple of hours later.

Her face was scraped up pretty bad she had a fat and cut lip and swollen gums. We think she chipped one or two of her top teeth, but she won't let us look very closely. It could have been MUCH worse and so we are grateful it wasn't.

This is what she looks like today. Still the scrapes that are now scabs and her lip still looks swollen but considerably better than yesterday. We have been putting some antibiotic ointment on it her face as well as giving tylenol. She is quite the little trooper.

Grandparents Day and Primary Program

For the first time Nathan's school celebrated Grandparents Day. So on Friday the 11th my Parents went to Nathan's school. Nathan was excited to have them there. He made a craft for them about his favorite memory. He got to show them around his classroom and they presented a puppet show. Nathan's group did the 3 little pigs.

The group of puppets.

The group plus his Teacher on the far left.

Yesterday was the Primary Program in our ward. Nathan and Taylor before heading off to church. I was so proud of them. They did a great job they had memorized their parts and said them perfectly (slowly and clearly) This is what their parts were.
Nathan- Except a man be born of water and of the spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5) I look forward to being baptized and receiving the Holy Ghost next year.
Taylor-I have a testimony that Jesus Christ is my Savior and He loves me.
I can't believe Nathan will be baptized in a little over 6 months, he is really growing up. Also Taylor got an AWWWW from the crowd after she said her part. Taylor is so petite she really could have used a booster seat. She was sitting on the very front row, yet still we could only see her eyes and forehead.

Here we are at Sunday dinner. Nathan and Taylor both got the traditional Red plate for their special Primary Program day.

Recent Random Pictures

Last Saturday Natalie was fussing in my room so I asked Nathan to go play with her while I was busy doing something else. At first I heard a lot of laughing then things got quiet. This is what I found when I went into my room. So sweet, she wasn't asleep yet but she was very comfy just relaxing with her big brother.

Monday I made the mistake of dozing off on the couch for a few minutes while both girls were awake. Well Natalie loves to get in the garbage and recycling and with me sleeping she knew she had a golden opportunity to get into something. That something happened to be an old container of butter I had thrown away that still had a little butter at the bottom. Taylor came and woke me up and I came in the kitchen to see Natalie scooping out the butter and giving me a cheesy, how can you possibly get mad at me face. So of course I first grabbed the camera and then cleaned her up.

Yesterday I needed to go to the mall to get my ring cleaned and inspected and Taylor has been wanting to play in the play area so away we went. They have a section for little crawlers to play without getting trampled by the bigger kids. Natalie started in the rocket and stayed there contently for a little while. BUT THEN........

She disovered the only thing separating her and the big kid world was this tiny little wall. Her wheels were turning, "If only I could go over that wall. "Phase 1 of her goal to be a part of the bid kid world.

Phase 2

Then a beeline to this slide. She crawled right up it without any hesitation or difficulty.

Then she perched proudly at the top.

Taylor in the beginning playing all by her lonesome. She was getting bored since she didn't have Nathan or any other friend to play with. SO......

I told her to go up to some little girl ask her name and then ask if she wanted to play. Then she started having fun with her 4 new friends.
