Nathan's 11th Birthday

The night before Nathan's birthday we ate hamburgers and drank rootbeer floats as his requested birthday dinner.
Nathan wanted his party at Xtreme Air. They play a lot of dodge ball and had a great time.
Preston came for the party and the boys chose to play a round of all 8 boys against Nathan's Dad.  I came in and helped at the end. 

Nathan's friends. This is a good group of boys. Nathan kept mentioning how great it was that everyone at the party was Mormon. I will have to agree with that greatness.

 Nathan doesn't like cake so I baked chocolate chip cookies for dessert. We put a candle on top of the stack of cookies.

For his actual birthday dinenr he chose to go to Texas Roadhouse with just Mom and Dad.

 The balloon man made him a special birthday hat.

 Amanda wanted to share in the birthday spotlight.

 Amanda was very intrigued by Nathan's cool balloon hat. 

 We had Brownies and ice cream for dessert.  (Brownies make a great substitute for a non cake eater)

Still in shock that we have a son that is 11.  He is a great young man and we love him.
